2010 F150

does anyone have a new F150? I just traded my 2008 F150 Limited on a 2010 F150 XLT. I thought I would be disappointed because I was giving up leather, moon roof, heated seats, back up camera ect.. But the new F150 is awsome! I did get the Microsoft Sync System. That thing rocks! But I can't get over how well the truck drives! I have always been a Chevy guy but I saw that 2008 Limited and fell in love. I now refuse to buy a Chevy and will never do so till the Government gets there hands out of GM (Government Motors). But I can say that the New Ford is the nicest truck I have ever driven. If you are in the market you need to look!

Sounds like someone has been hanging out with Mike Rowe...
No but really, I really like the new F150 and would have one if it wasn't for a less than satisfactory driving record (insurance won't have me). And I agree with you on GM. There's no way I could support them after all of the crap they've pulled. Onlly new vehicle I would buy would be a Ford!

My '93 has 286,000 miles on the first engine after 18 years and it still takes a punishing like you wouldn't believe. I had an '06 FX4 with every option that was absolutely perfect for 60,000 miles without a single hiccup. I don't see how you can beat one. The next time I buy a pickup it will definitely be a new F150. In fact, I can't wait. But hell, you have to let a good one die before you ditch it. That's the only thing that I don't like about F150s. You get to love one and it never dies and you never get to have a new one unless you just buy new ones all the time.

And my '09 Focus has Sync and yes it is awesome. I like the "play all" ipod feature where you just hit the steering wheel button to cycle randomly through everything. And the bluetooth sounds great to people you're calling. It's a great system.

<------ Absolutely HATES the Triton 5.4.

Plugs that are on the inside of the head, UNDER the fuel rail. PITA COP that go bad.

I had 4 go bad on a '98 Expedition and after #5 went bad my wife had to hold me back from the matches with the lighter fluid in my hand.

I will never own another Ford again.

(I'll save my 99 Explorer Limited story for another time.)

I like the looks of the ford 2nd to my GMC. Now the Ford Raptor thing they just released..... Is FUGLY!!! I do have to agree with scuzz though, Simple plug changes are not possible on a ford.

i like the new fords too. i have a 98 f150 and it runs great. the only problems i had with it is if you get the plugs wet then your gonna have to change em cause it starts missin like crazy. the only other problem i have had with my ford is the front brakes tend to stick if you use them alot in a certain amount of time, but other than that, the fords are the best! i wish i had the money to get a ford Raptor though. lol they look freakin awesome and they're supposed to be bad to the bone

Thank you for not supporting GM. I fully agree there.

And I have a 2010 Fusion and that Sync is awesome. Couldn't live without it now. Ford has really stepped up their vehicles recently. I have gone from a hater to a fan.

My '93 takes five minutes to change the plugs and my '06 took about twenty. I guess the head was different from the '06 back in '98. The only reason it took twenty was because of the back plug, I think on the passenger side, was a tough reach. Isn't the fuel rail on the '98 held down by just a few bolts? It couldn't have been as bad as my fiancee's old Sebring that the back half intake manifold had to be removed to get to the back plugs. It took me an afternoon to get back there and sew her up, but it was the first time it had to be done in 150,000 miles. Oh well, I started out in a '79 5.0 Capri and I'll probably end in a Ford as well. At least we have choices.
