Googles
I'm wondering what you all use for goggles? When I first started I rode with regular goggles. Well every time you get mud on them, you'd have to stop & wipe the mud off of them. And usually would end up scratching them. I know a lot of guy's I ride with just use safety glasses.
For the last several years I've been using Smith goggles with the roll off systems. Well I finally wore out both pairs I had, so I went looking for a new pair, since I have extra canisters & film. I was unable to find any of the Smith brand, so I purchased 2 pair of Scott goggles for $20 each. I thought I could transfer my roll off system's onto the Scott goggles, but they didn't line up. So then I went looking for the Scott roll off system. Best deal I could find was $35 just for what they call the works system. Further searching I was able to find the Scott Recoil XI goggles with the Works system aka "rip&roll" for $30! So I purchased 2 pairs, they each came with 2 rolls of film and 6 tear offs. So now for $100 I have 2 new sets of Scott works goggles and 2 back up sets. And the extra film I had does work with the Scott system! So I should be set for awhile on googles. That said for $30 a pair I'm fighting of the erg to purchase more and just store them, lol.
