Dealer prices??

So what are dealers in your area selling 700XX's for now that there are no rebates from Honda? Do your dealers still have them on the floor? I know back in October/November of last year (when the rebates were still going on) one of the local dealers had seven of them on the floor. Went by the same dealer a couple of weeks ago, and not one 700XX in the showroom. Didn't think much of it until today when I went by one of the other dealers in town. Again, not one 700XX on the floor. Granted, I didn't actually ask if they had any (didn't really want to talk to a salesman and get the sales pitch) but figured if they had any, at least one would be out on the floor.

Just curious as to what others are finding at their local dealers. Here in the next month or so, I think I will be picking up my second 700XX. Would prefer new, depending on price. From the looks of the dealer floors though, used may be my only option. Not many used ones around locally either.

Don't be scared to buy used. I found a used 08 on ebay for 3500.00. Looked brand new, had about 20-30hrs and was only 4 hours from my house.

Check with Apache Cycles in Phoenix. They had a bunch of them last January when I bought mine. Its only a 4 hour drive from Boulder City.

Boost, for sure not afraid of used, but if I can buy new for a price close to what some places were selling them for months ago. (Doubtful, but you never now.) I would rather do that. I have been looking at used ones in my area, but not a whole lot out there right now.

Red, if you offer free delivery, we can make a deal! haha

Mizuridirt, I did find Apache while searching, they will be one of the places I call, how were they to deal with?

I have been looking in the Phoenix area and So Cal, have no problem taking a road trip. I actually bought my 2004 450R in Cali back in 2004. Found a great deal on it from a dealer in Thousand Oaks. To bad that dealer closed his doors when the economy tanked, would have loved to deal with them again.

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like the 700XX is kind of scarce. Hopefully that means many have been sold and Honda is releasing a 2012 model! Then again, maybe the 700XX is just not selling and dealers are not ordering them from Honda, no reason to buy one and let it sit. I still have not seen many 09's at all, leads me to believe Honda still has a bunch in a warehouse collecting dust...

Doug I was working at Hoover and I just called them and they had it all ready for me to pick up on a Saturday morning. It all went pretty smooth and they were really moving them back then. It was right at $4800.00 out the door. Ride-Now wouldn't deal at all so we made the trip down to Apache and it was well worth it. I think I dealt with Ron from what I can remember.

I just bought one last week for $3900 out the door. Has a small scuff on the rear grab bar and that's it. looks like the guy got scared by a wheelie and traded it back in
