puke Snowmobiling was fun....

Well, My 1998 SRX was throwing a beat down on all the new machines. I raced a 08' Nytro, 08' ski doo renegade 800, and 08' apex. All are the extremely fast sleds and my 13 year old sled was faster on the top end, they couldn't catch me. Problem is half way through the day my sled started popping and coughing a bit. I then snapped my steering stem in two because the trails were so rough. After walking a mile to a subway Crash21 came to my rescue with a trailer. Along with the snapped steering stem my 3rd cylinder melted down.

Since there is so much snow and I'm off work I had to ride! I went to the shop and got this with 700mi for 5600 otd.

2009 Yamaha Phazer GT 500. 500cc. I topped it out at 87mph on the river today, its the lightest sled on the market. Its like riding a quad or dirtbike in the winter, so much fun!

I talked with EHS and Barker's the other day. They have a package for the Phazer. I ordered up the Barker's slip on, Tim Barker claims an 11hp gain and 12mph gain on the top end. I got the Phazer to 91mph on the river the other day so that'll put me over a 100mph on this tiny sled. Just awesome! If yamaha were smart they'd use this motor to make a new banshee. 80hp fuel injected twin thats only 500cc, I love this machine!
