Fuel Lever

Has anyone else here lost their fuel levers when riding and were unable to turn on reserve? I am one of the lucky ones that had to WALK the bike back because no one else was around

Thank you for bringing this up. When I get my shock back today I'll yank that off and put some loctite on it (If it hasn't already fallen off)

lol that would suck. not sure about that lock tight idea since u need to be able to get it off to take the tank off the bike, unless u cut the little piece of plastic around it.

Use only the Blue Loctite. It can be removed by just unscrewing the fuel valve screw. Most of us have had that problem but corrected it with the Loctite Product. Care must be taken to index the plastic knob so that when the valve is off it is off and not on the reserve position. The knob only fits securely when the indexed properly.

Might get the light duty (I think it's purple) to put on it if you are worried the blue is too strong.

I feel Ur pain bro, noticed mine was missing the other day as well. I just know I'm going to need to flip mine in res, while in a bind on a hill and going to be screwed.

I guess I should probably get a replacement, I bet they're $25 from honda :(
