rear width and height

im wanting to make the rear end of my xx 4" wider fit bear klaws and keep the same height...can anyone tell me which wheels and tyre sizes i would need....i was thinking 10" wheels and 22" bear claws if ther is such a size

ITP or DWT 10x7 rim and 22x8x10 BearKlaws should do the job. Remember to strap the tyre or it soon could be a 23".

Rap a strap around the tyre before inflating it to seat the beads. The Bearklaws stretch alot if you don't.

That is a narrow tire for the rear IMO

Yeah youre right , but only BearKlaw to fit at 22"od. Me personally would go for the 20x11x10 Klaw. It fits the 22"od when fitted to a 10x8 rim . This I know is a good tyre for the xx.
if I was to use the 22x8x10 BearKlaw I would put them on a DWT 10x6 with 3:3 offset. But this only puts the xx 2" wider at the rear.
