Is there a demand for the TRX700XX?

So last Tuesday I get home from work and had a message on my answering machine. Two of the Honda shops in Vegas are part of a large chain, the message was from one of those stores and I bought my first 700XX there brand new back in 2009. Basically, the message was inquiring if I still had the 700XX I bought from them and if I did still have it, would I be willing to sell it. (I didn't return the call as I have no interest in selling.) Figure for them to call and inquire about buying back a quad that I bought 3 years ago, there must be quite a few inquires by people ready to buy a 700XX.

So what is everyone's local dealers saying about the 700XX? Does anyone know of any dealers that still have new ones on the floor? I know over a year ago, before I bought my second one used, I stopped by the local dealer and they said they don't have any and can't get any, Honda has no more. I am guessing that by now all the new ones are gone, so if you want one, used is your only option.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar or has any info about future production of the 700XX. Hopefully Honda will start selling them again.

Doug

someone posted on here a few months ago that a 2013 model was showing up on the order forms for dealers. Haven't heard anything since though.

There is no demand for them in my area. I think in my county, there are 2, maybe 3 of them. I keep up with the ATV scene, so I've known about them since they came out, but no one I ride with had ever heard of them or an ATV like it before they saw mine. An usually if I go to a riding event and someone asks me what I ride, I have to explain to them what the 700XX is. I think if Honda had designed it similar to the Raptor, if would have been much more popular. Then they could have gotten rid of that POS 300EX/X shifted around their line up.

yeah, but only a month or so ago, the only 2013 model on the site was the 250, so there is still a chance i suppose, but I dont know if they will make the 700xx again. If they make another 700, they will probably make it a sra quad.

Southern Honda in Chattanooga has 1 new '08 in stock. The way I explain the ATV to people I come in contact with in my riding area is that it's the bastard of the ATV world. Utility guys don't like it because it's not a 4X4 with racks and sport guys don't like it because it's on the heavy side and has IRS.

For me and the way I ride, it's the perfect fit with just a few modifications. I would definitely buy one again.
