I have seen them in the past on others. This is my first one. I am starting to ride so far from the vehicle that I need to be more prepared. Figure I can put the Tusk brand tire plug and co2 kit in there, plus an 8,10,12mm wrench, 4,6,8mm allens, screw driver, pair of needle nose vice grips and wrap it all in a rag to prevent rattling. Could also carry topographical maps in there.

What else would be good to have on hand?

I also carry a small prybar. It has come in handy many times. Unless you have a large screw driver. Also a channel locks. I also wrap all the tools up and put them in a ziplock bag to prevent them from getting wet. Nothing like your vise grips being all rusted and not being able to adjust them.

The PVC looks good all though you may want to find a better way to mount it. Maybe use some rubber around the tube so it does not bounce around. Or maybe some kind of clamp system to hold it. I will work on it probably in the next couple weeks. If I come up with a better mount I will let you know.

Don't think I'll need a bag. It should be water tight. I used pipe cement on the joints. The threaded cap should hold out water as well.
The simple 12 gauge solid core wire holds it pretty secure. I purposely made the length precisely so that the end caps just clear the metal arc of the grab bar. When drawn in tight the tube can't slide side to side. If you think of something better let me know. I do want it to be easily removable.

today i put a motion pro +2 clutch cable, streamline +2 stainless braided front brake lines and a 3.5in rox riser, new EBC front pads. O and i threw a set of ITP HD front tires on it since they were laying around. and when i was putting the front top plastic piece on i threw those stupid screws and rubber things away and drilled the holes out and used the push rivets that honda has always used but for some reason didnt want to with that piece

3.5" riser, what kind of bars you running? I'm 6'3" and wouldn't want more than an inch of rise with stock probably. Guessing you went to a low rise bar?

I started to put on Ricochet arm guards, what a freakin joke. No info, no directions, some bolts too long. So frustrated I didn't even feel like starting on the CCP damper.
