Love my XX

Well I've had my XX since May 2008, and I just wanted to say that I love this machine. I have put 200 plus hours on it with NO problems or failures, I put the big 3 on it, I put rims and tires (10 inch) and a rack to carry some necessities on. I have ridden this thing hard, I have raced many other quads, and I have no complaints about this machine. I ride on the east coast, mostly WVA, Hatfield/McCoy and Burning rock (my favorite) and Rock Run in PA. I couldn't have picked a better sport quad for this type of riding and rough rocky terrain that I ride. I don't understand how this quad hasn't been the choice of many more riders. I appreciate reading the opinions and stories here on club 700, there have been many times that the information here on this site has helped me with the decisions I've made and some really important tweaking of IMO the very difficult to get right PC3 that I chose for my XX. So thank you all and this forum, and the other XX owners I've met over the last several years. This machine will be with me until it falls apart!!!

Love mine too, and I hope it never falls apart. If it does thou I hope I will be able to find the parts to bring it back to life! I'm not so sure I could part with this one even if they do come out with a new improved model, I'd just had two lol.

I am tempted to buy the new Black Shadow Graphics 09 still at the Honda shop. I think if mine ever "goes south", I could just take the red/black plastics off and transfer to the new one. Of course we all know red/black is faster. The problem is where to put it. The Grizzly,700XX and RZRS take up an awful lot space as it is.

After 2 rides I would have to agree with everything chipperbates said. Went on a trail ride recently that had over 800 bikes at it. 80% were 2 wheelers but I bet none of them had as much fun as I did. The track was made for quads, very muddy and rutted forestry tracks, nice rolling green farm paddocks, dirt paddocks that had been cultivated, swampy boggy areas, some nice fresh bulldozed tracks and some good hill climbs it had everything and the xx ate it all. I passed lots of raptors and ltz's with ease even pulled up beside a ltr450 heard him crack the throttle open when he saw me but I just walked away from him on the rough ground. My bike is still stock apart from nerfs and 13t I haven't even touched the clickers on the shocks just jumped on and rode. I was amased how fast you could ride a quad over rough ground. For New Zealand conditions the xx is the perfect quad nothing else would come close I'm still can't see why they stopped making this awesome machine. Oh and we all know that red goes faster.

Its amazing how far a KFX 90 will fly if you go fast. 15' is her current record.
