stock dunlop durabitlity??

How durable are the stock dunlop radials on the 700xx? I know they arent near the 6 ply of a kutter or something. Im going to Tennessee in 3 weeks for a 4 day ride in very tough conditions, wondering if i need to order a set of kutters, if the stock tires are fairly puncture resistant, i will stay stock for now. Just dont want them to let me down! Are they thick enough to handle jagged rocks and roots?

Mine lasted 3 seasons through everything you can imagine, only replaced when they were worn out with Kutters for a bit of extra bite.

thats impressive!!! I just found out they are 4 ply radials, never bothered to read them before! 4 ply is it least a lot tougher than the 2 plys that my brute force came with

Depends who you talk to. Most people I know hated the stock dunflops including myself. New tires and the l8ton racing sway bar are the 2 best things you can so to this quad IMO

They don't last for shit on asphalt or tarmac. In fact at high speeds you can actually feel the quad's ride height lowering! And 3 years on stockers??? I'm only 2.8 years and about ready for set #3 and Im a seasonal rider.

I'll be replacing mine this month, after a few high speed rides through some concessions, you can see how much they wear at just a glance. Also they just don't have enough bite to really accelerate though soft sand or thick mud.

I ride almost every weekend year round. Many of the places I ride have fast hard packed clay "blue grooved" sections... my stock tires wore down very quickly and I now run Maxxis Razr and they are still going strong. Riding season is ALL year in Cal.
