Found vent tube after 1 year!

You know the short vent tube's on top of the billet gas caps? Well when I ride my boys around they sometimes would grab that tube, and well one of them pulled it out last year. Today I was removing my tank to adjust the valves, and I herd something hit the ground. At first I was like fudge! WTH was that and where did it come from! And then I seen the tube with the fancy billet cap on the ground. It was still there after a year of riding and power washing! Must of fell down between the tank and cover, and was laying on top of the tank heat shield. Last year when I replaced it I order'd 2 so now I have 3, should last a few rides till the kids can reach the bars lol...

You didn't happen to find a Jubilee clip of a 98' YZ400 lower cooling hose. I lost it way back and rebuilt the garage twice. Never found it but wondered if you may have seen it.

No but it may be worth a second look!

On a side note: the intake valves were almost closed, I was wanting to check them but gave up when a 0.004 wouldn't fit. The exhaust side wasn't to bad in fact the one side was okay. Is that normal for you to find one out of 4 okay? And 18 lbf seams like the bolts were a lot tighter than that! Also what is the deal with adding the grease to the timing hole and crankshaft cap? I understand the oil on the O-ring, is the grease on threads just to make sure the bolt don't seize on there?
