I love the bar, at first I was thinking just like you. In fact I originally order'd the 9/16's bar. And it was on back order, and as my 1st ride date came closer I contacted Kyle. He offer'd to send me the 11/16's which he had in stock, at no additional cost to me. And then if I felt I wanted to exchange it once the 9/16's became available, he would cover the shipping on the exchange! I was like how can you beat that. So he shipped out the 11/16's bar in time for my 1st ride that season, and I've never thought about exchanging it! I'm sure it takes away some of the plushness, but it's well worth it! And is not really that noticeable to me, it's nothing like getting bts on a straight axle quad that's for sure.
