oregon dunes...

anyone going by any small chance? will be braving the weather and riding winchester bay starting tomorrow (friday). ill prolly be the only quad out there running HIDs.

i would but just had surgery last thursday. if everything ok dr said 6-8 weeks.but i guess after what iwent through this last week. the next 4-6 weeks should be a breeze...
the weather is going to be terrible.. very wet.. i live in vancouver.. if you get chance try browns camp by tillamook or... when i heal we should get together for a ride!! have fun at winchester...
ps. do banshee hill.. might be your last chance before they close it down..

yikes! get well soon! i have been to some orv area by tillamook called jones or johns creek. its off highway 6, i think, just before you get into tillamook.

i dunno if i could get up such a big hill, im going without paddles, lol. gonna air down, and hopefully the wet sand will make it easier.

nice... i think we are gonna be riding up by the umpqua lighthouse. hopefully well be rolling into reedsport by noon, gonna be an early day tomorrow.

I won't be able to hit the dunes this weekend either, but have fun everyone!

Unfortuntely, it is true that Banshee Hill is on the chopping block, as are major portions of Florence and Coos Bay. All that remains is for the signs to go up. A grassroots movement is being started, and an Oregon Dunes Account has been opened with the Blue Ribbon Coalition to help fight these closures, and the people behind them. Please help us spread the word!

well just got back from hospital. needs x rays to see if spread . definitely going to have radiation treatment, if spread then need chemo treatment..hopefully this summer i will be smoking it up on the trails legally!!
