UT riders?

I'm from Orem, typically ride the Little Sahara dunes outside of Eureka, UT or 5 mile which is east of Eagle Mountain, UT. I have yet to go down to moab or the Pink Coral Dunes. Just wondering if we have any other UT riders on here.

First
Welcome to the club!

Second; there are a few riders from ID but don't remember if there are anybody from UT, would try to search the member's location or just wait and see.
Used to ride Little Sahara all the time before it got to hot to ride there, our main time was Easter and we used to park past the main entrance and ride in but think nowadays blm has fence all of our entry. Since you live in Orem, you're not far from Filmore which is great place to start, the Pauite trail starts there and basically you can ride about 230 miles which we used but we used to camp in Kanash right off a creek and no one would bother you or your stuff. That's one thing I really miss about UT.

How did the bike handle the Dunes, especially sand mountain?

Enjoy!

3rd gear all the way to the top. and I'm 200lb. My riding buddy is like 150lb and he can smoke people up the hill lol. I just got my skat's and I'm gonna go ride them on sat. I haven't ridden the pauite trail but it sounds fun. I work for a school distrcit and get the summers off so it sounds like an ATV trip is on order

Wow! I'm amaze that you were able to climb that hill in the 3rd gear and that's without paddles, great!! now I really wish that I was there playing in the sand.
Here's a link about the Paiute trail system. We used to ride there at least 6 times a year and have done all their trails. Best time to go there is either in May for the lower trails (Heat) and Fall time for the upper trails (no snow)

Never been to the ID dunes, since I've only had the machine for a year I haven't been too many places.
