This is what I end up with. Something that will breathe better and still retain a sealed airbox and not lose the high rpm power. Thats the theory anyways.
Should work ! 004-1.jpg
Also working on a cover for this mod to let it breathe and avoid direct intake of stuff, when things get "really" bad conditions for mud, etc.
Always tryin' !

that set up maybe good for supermoto or tt, maybe motocross but isnt going to be to hot for cross country, gncc,or desert racing ,at any given moment a stick or rock gets slung just right it will go right through the outer wears, is too close to back tire motion, but i will have to say a little better job than jake with his turbo set up his was out in the open, woww!!! just my opinion !

I'll make a better one for XC.
Also the airbox mod worked great on Sunday and the stock motor worked better having it.

I tried a mx event on Sunday , abit of "Playtime" and help out on a setup for the "#1 Plate series" running later in the year.
This is what I ran for practice and first race , basically the TT setup with differant suspension settings. This didn't work out well at all . Had to man handle the xx around the track. Not a good start.
Culham MX 011-2.jpg
Then I tried , a complete differant setup , something I had been working on. Again, something that should not work !
I ran 52" front and 53" rear width with rider , differant shock settings and alot of hope.
Culham 2 001-2.jpg
Culham 2 003-2.jpg
Now it handles closer to being a 450r. Loves to rail loamy rutted berms and is pretty close to being "perfect". Needs some more tweeking though.
Downside to this weekend , 4th gear is MIA , I have 2 x 3rds and a 5th and the stock rear shocks faded badly about halfway threw the race.
Race 3 was so much fun and close to what I wanted.
Sorry no vids and may find a pic or 2 of race action on the web but this was my "day off " and I think you members maybe bored at looking at these anyways.
Always tryin'
