Evansville MX Park Harescramble?

Two questions?
1. Anyone doing this harescramble in PA. on March 24th?
2. How long should a gas tank last? I have a stock 700xx except for larger rear tires 25in. The race is 1 1/2 hours, should I need to refill?

Thanks!

I may be going. Cousin is trying to talk me into it. It's a four hour drive though, and I am still way out of shape. I've ran half a series of NY's harescrambles with no problem gas wise on the XX, an hour and a half plus one lap. If I remember, Evansville is a 2 hour race. I'd think on a stock machine, you'd be alright. What class you running in? But if you say it is a 1.5 hour race, you'll be more than fine. Just be sure you're full to begin with and that it isn't on reserve.

2008 700xx; Power Bomb header with power core 4 exhaust, Power Programmer III, pro armor nerfs, prm products control front and rear bumpers and full skid, 10" ITP rears, ITP Baja's fronts, RZR 2's all the way around, Uni filter, 13t sprocket, CCP steering Damper, DS450 shock swap, Dual Gasser Throttle, bar risers and Moose barkBusters. 730XX kit plus other engine mods!

It's a 1 1/2 hour race which is good for me since I'm also a little out of shape. My friend and I are going. This will be both our first time and we will be in the 30+ C class. I guess it's our midlife crisis that is getting us to try it. We have a 3 hour trip but are going on saturday and staying at a hotel for sunday's race. Let me know if you decide to go I'll keep my eye out for another 700xx.

I wont be running the 700 if I go. I have some 450's. I am doing the whole WNYOA series and looks like maybe 4 GNCC's down the coast, and really should get to Evansville to really start getting back in shape. If you have never done this before, I'd recommend taking a spare person with you just to drive back those 3 hours. This will more than likely be the most brutal workout you'll ever have. Just giving you a heads up. There was one guy on here, Aubsfan, talked to me about racing and said he was in the best shape of his life. Diehard gym fan and everything. Called me 2 days after the race to let me know how he did, and said he could barely move. The race kicked his tush because it works every single muscle in your body, in my case, usually the spincter muscle the most LOL. If I go, I will either be in A or B. Still up in the air. I did 5 races last year out of the 12, finished 4 of them, and all in the top 5 in B class. And I am pretty far out of shape. Been several years since I did this.
