Do you still have the heat shield under the tank? If it was a faulty EFI and you were getting too much, I'd think your plug would show and youd be smoking quite a bit. BTW, tell your wife I sold her truck and bought a new one, just a tad nicer than the old one.

Thanks for the link , I'll get the 700xx running right.

I have given myself 12 months to build 2 motors and get them running right.

You need to bring that down to 3 months, LOL. The other weekend I finally raced again. Took first, and felt good. But I realized im not nearly as competitive as I used to be, so I am looking to get rid of the new 450. Bye bye 13K+ investment LOL. But the night before the race I had the crank out of my cousins suzuki, swapped that along with some gears and clutch basket, got it all together and he rode it for 4 hours, from 2 to 6 am, and we went to the race. Bastard got the hole shot in his class and no one was able to keep up in his class and he just moved out. I was shocked LOL. Guess that's what happens when you don't drink too many beers when building a motor. I think Jill will like the new truck better, it's a tad sexier, and can haul all her horses with ease. I'll get some pics up on FB soon.

Raced "lil' rex" on Sunday. A bit of mx and nearly ran out of fuel first race. Filled it to the top, did 2 x 15 minute practices and had to use reserve for first race. 15 mins + 1 lap running on vapour. It's stone stock with 450r front shocks. Love the 400ex , more fun than the 450r but not quite as good as the 700xx.
