I have been thinking about going with Honda's HP4, however...
.. it seems that the common consensus here is to just stick with Honda's GN4 10W40!
Honda's HP4 4-stroke is what I run in my son's TRX90 ... and at oil change time, I am envious of the golden honey color of his "dirty oil" compared to my brownish, not very transparent version.
I have done some checking into... and Honda's HP4 does NOT contain any Moly or Graphite additives that are harmful to clutch operation or function. On several occasions though, at the dealer, when I asked of the possible switch to the HP4. The feedback I got was that it may effect clutch operation in doing so... ?!?!
