New 700xx owner

Well I just got my first full week of riding in on my 700xx and I have to say, I am really liking the bike. I have been on it every day for about 4-5 hours a day for the past week since I have had the last week off work so I actually have quite a few hours on her already. I've been riding ATVs and dirtbikes for 25 years and have had quadzillas, tecate 4s, banshees, 250rs and just about every brand of 450 out there. I have to say, I think the xx is just about the fastest stock ATV I've ever ridden. I'm out here in southwest Arizona and the ability of this thing all out in 4th and 5th gear thru the hard packed desert terrain is extremly impressive. I've never had a machine feel so planted at over 70mph either. Can't wait to put some money into her and see what happens but right now I see why this Atv dominated baja. I can't believe I waited this long to buy one.

Thanks for the welcome

Yea it's more than I was expecting, especially based on the reviews.... Luckily I never put too much stock into that stuff. My buddy had one a few years ago when I had my 450 kawi and although I never got the opertunity to ride it, I knew I had to have one. It would pull on my 450 like a bat out of hell from 30 mph on and he would have to wait up for me on some (well most) of the Rocky sections. He traded it in for a 4x4 and he regrets it. Surely he will buy another one now that I have one.

I do have a few things I'd like to fix. It certainly doesn't turn as sharp as some of the other bikes I have owned but for most of my riding, that's not much of a concern. I've heard of a few remedies but it seems to be a controversial subject. I'm probably going to get an exhaust and programmer first and go from there... What's the pipe of choice for these things? Noise isn't a issue and if it is, that's what a quiet core is made for. I want a pipe that makes power. It's definetly choked up, no doubt to meet california emission standards.

To help turning at slow speeds you can choose Ed's upper A-arms. At fast speed the L8ton sway bar will help you turn on a dime! As far as pipes just research and get one you will be happy with, usually there a one time upgrade. Sparks or Barkers probably the most power. Check ebay, a few sellers had the hmf full exhaust for under $300.00 I like this one but man there proud of them.
