Where you come from is gone. Where you thought you were going to weren't never there, and where you’re at ain't no good unless you can get away from it!

Rims are DWT Red Label .190's (Stock size) bought off of E-bay and then I used a local company that PC'd them gloss black. Also bought the Kutter's off E-bay as well.

Well it appears it has to come back apart. My first outing results... appears a crank bearing is not very happy, WTF. I guess the good of it is I caught it but now need to see what needs replaced to decide which direction I'll go with it.

Are you sure that its the crank bearing? If it's making a rattling noise, does it go away when you pull in the clutch?

Unfortunately not the clutch as the noise is definitely on the stator side of the engine (verified with stethoscope). It also does not change tone when pulling the clutch in.

Very nice transformation! Good choice of parts. What type of 4 wheeler tires are those? sand tires I believe right?

The tires are Kenda Kutters, more of an all purpose woods tire in my opinion.

Small update, my problem wasn't the damn motor either ( I guess that's good). A stupid .03 washer in the transmission somehow broke and ended up in the stator!! So that was the noise, unreal.

So I ended up with a high comp big bore, ported head, HC S3 cam, PC3, Pro Design filter, & many new transmission gears/bearings.

Motor should be done here shortly as we've been waiting on a single gear for the trans that was on backorder for the last 8 weeks.

08' Blackbird XX - IPS tuned/built 53whp woods terror (710cc/10.5:1, Hot Cam S3, Ported Head, Pro design filter, Barker's, PCV, HD Clutch, + much more)
