Hi. I'm from Albuquerque NM and I recently bought a used 2008 TRX 700xx.

I was riding the other day and the bike made a slight pop then shut off. Have not been able to start it since. I turn the key on and all the lights flash, I push the start button and nothing happens the light does not turn on. I tried to push start it, the head light flickers but the bike will still not start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the club. I would start with all of the simple stuff like a new spark plug and check the battery voltage. The battery should give 12.5 or more volts with the engine not running. The voltage should be around 14.4 volts running.

Welcome to the club

If battery is good, see if motor will spin freely by hand. The slight pop, and dies, scares me.

Thanks for the input. The battery is good and the engine turns over because we tried to push start it. I'm still at a loss.

Volt meter on battery, check volts. Then turn key on, check for voltage drop. Do you hear it click at relay? What's it do when you try to push start? Did you check fuses?

Volts drop from 12.4 to 11.1. All fuses are good. Nothing happens when I push the start button. I remove solenoid and went direct to battery and it does click. When connected to four wheeler nothing happens.

Yeah you say nothing happens when you hit start button? Voltage at 12.4 is low to begin with, but should show a load when you hit start. These fuel injected quads will not start with low battery, not even push start sometimes. But the kill/start switch could be a issue as well.

or even a wrong battery with ampere, lower, not suitable,
however, the start button,
surely it is worth checking out,
I also see mine,
electrical system is not the best,
to turn on headlights, I have to try and try again several times,
Fortunately,
to turn on the engine, it still works well

Check voltage to relay, and if it's there, then see if it's making it to the starter. If no voltage to relay when on and hitting start, then definitely sounds like the switch.
