New guy from Canada

Hello all,

Im looking to buy a 700xx and I was wondering what its all about. As a guy coming from the utility scene...I wanted something more sporty than my jacked up Honda Foreman...What can you all say to help me make my decision a final one?

TrX700XX0n22s,
Read through the threads/posts on this forum and I am sure you will come away with enough information to make an intelligent decision. From my prospective it is a wonderful machine that is well designed and well built. It has its quirkiness but nothing that would make me not want it. Gotta love the independent suspension. Good luck in your quest.

I was in the same position as you only having experience with utilities. I ended up choosing the XX because I mostly ride trials, rarely use 4X4 and wanted something lighter and more nimble (smaller) that I could shift. Utilities and the crossovers were all CVT, heavier and comparatively big. Also I have a KQ400FS for the tough stuff. Honda had the power, quality and ride (IRS) that I was looking for. Too bad they don't make them any more. I guess they weren't big sellers for the target sport utility market since a lot of potential buyers would be drawn towards atvs like the renegades etc with 4x4 squeeze and go. If you're looking a power acceleration rush, relative comfort, reliability and like to shift then I don't think there's many other choices than the XX.
