Back to Honda perhaps?

Hello all,
I'm a current owner of an '09 Raptor 727. I have owned more Honda's in my life than any other brand. I bleed red for sure, even while riding blue. I rode a 700xx at the Walden dunes for the first time last Friday. It wasn't my 63hp Raptor, but I wasn't dissapointed either. Quite the opposite. I look forward to learning more about the xx. It got my attention for sure. Could be a new weapon in the arsenal.

It is a nice Atv, but way different than the raptor. They both are very good at what they were made for. The xx is awesome in rough trails.

Congrats! Was the 08 you bought all stock, and was it used I presume it was? If it is all stock the 1st 2 and cheapest things I would do, is the air filter and 13t front sprocket.

Yeah, it was all stock but used. Really good condition. Bought it from the original owner who was 62 yrs old. He bought it new in 2010.
I have big plans for this but still need to learn lots about whats available parts wise. Definitely not the same scene as the Raptor 700 world. Seems much harder to find mod parts for. Have talked via email to EHS a couple times now. Not sure how involved he is with these anymore. I plan on doing a full motor build this winter. Want nothing less than 70hp. Gonna look into shocks and tires asap.
