Here goes...

A buddy of mine has a 1986 250R (quad), completely restored/back to stock. Everything is repainted and the engine is completely refreshed. It's nice, but 250R's aren't in high demand. I'm going to take pictures of it this weekend and I'll email them to anyone who wants to see it. I don't know what extras it has; haven't seen it in a while.

He's looking to get $2800 for it. I know it's worth it to someone who wants it, but I realize they're not in high demand.

Anybody interested? PM me or reply to this thread.
Thanks guys/girls

And Garrett - They made some changes between '86 and '88.

Changes:

-Compression ratio went from 7.5:1 to 7.7:1
-Dimensions (wheelbase, LxWxH) - quad got bigger overall but shorter wheelbase
-dropped 33 lbs - 357 to 324 lbs
-top speed went from 69 mph to 85 mph
-shorter aluminum swingarm
-headlight mounted into the plastic (not on handlebars)

Where did that come from?

Trying to get back on topic...is anyone interested in this quad? It would need a bit of work to be top-notch, mint condition, but it's a pretty nice starting point, especially for someone who has respect for the old ones and just wants one to have fun with.
