Snorkeling the xx....

haha, this seems like an impossible task. I have talked to like 3 different shops around town and showed the guys my quad and told them i wana snorkel it, pretty much ive gotten a big laugh and some joke ideas thrown around, I have come up with some sort of makeshift idea with pvc piping but i still have no plan for how to connect the pipe to the intake thing. is there any rectangular tubing out there that i could run? and i dont reallyknow where i would run it to haha, im thinking from the intake rectangle ont he air box lid up to the gas tank under the seat, then im kinda and a halt, i was looking at maybe under the plastic right above the tank, then cutting it so the snorkel would run on top of the gas tank then up in front of the bars, but if ayone has some sort of idea that would be awesome!

Maybe block the hole at the front and run it from the left of the air box and then along the side of the engine where the clutch cable is and up to just in front of the bars......

well first off..how deep you thinking about going? I dont think the PC3 is built that water proof. And the TT Vapor prob will not get that far also.

what i was thinking was kinda like Oz was thinking..but run the hose behind the quad/rider. your body can prob block alot of incoming mud/water/mooses.

Having the airbox cut on the side is good because you dont want any water/mud/elk to fall directly on the airfilter. putting a splatter shield on Incoming air will work also help. then a one way drain on the botom that can handle the job better then the stock one.

In alaska you should not have a shortage of Jeepers that have built stuff like that.

This may be a stupid idea but here goes. Why not remove airbox completely and using rubber hose and pvc piping ,mount a air filter and outerwear near the bars. Same for the engine breather. Mount a sealed container where the air box was for the Efi controller and silicone the joints on wiring.
