i think this means my quad is too lean

when i start it up after it has been sitting for a few hrs it will "stall" out i have to give it gas for a few seconds befor it will "hold" its idol speed

am i right about it not getting enough gas ( to lean )

Well the xx is too lean at idle (this is why they stall so easy at low rpm without any mods) b4 u put a slip-on. So if U havent got a programmer this is it. U really need to get one asap.

with the stock exhaust it never did and i remember with the fmf and this exhaust it does... ya its got to be way to lean..... i never could get the plug cap off.......

Have the 2Bros exhaust with their programmer and it still stalls on me at the beginning of the day but once it's warm up, it stops doing it, guess I'm used to it and just give a little of gas so it won't stall on me.

iam with you all, i need one bad but i dont know any thing about them, how to use them or any of that... and is the diffrance really gonna be night and day ?

iam trying to put money away to pay the quad off and to gather safty equipment like a leatt brace and put my money into beadlocking rims, extended a-arms or wheel spacers untill then, need to get my rear shocks revalved ect ect

but mainly wanna get the quad paied off

Totally understand wanting to pay it off, but U need to get a programmer! Or put the stocker exhaust back on or it could DAMAGE ur motor. The dobeck is not hard at all to program and thier cheap too. It would be ur best bet. Just my thoughts.
