Installed a LED light in my front bumper

Well on my last quad I had a 2 LED headlight mounted up by the handlebars. When I got the XX I knew I wanted to add LEDs of some sort as they are so much better than standard halogen bulbs. I knew I didn't want to mount them to the plastic.

Well when I purchased the AC racing bumper, I mainly purchased it because it was really cheap on eBay. And because I wanted something black. Little did I know it would be the perfect spot to put an LED light.

I put it on a switch so I could run it without the ignition being turned on.

So after some cutting and wiring here it is:

ahfunaki,
Nice installation. Make a very useful addition to the factory lights. Thanks for the show-n-tell.

Will do! I might actually put some extra sealant around the edges of the lens still. Not sure...

Thanks for all the comments!

How well do those work mounted on you bumper like that? I would think that vibration would make it difficult to keep the beams nice and steady.

I haven't had any issues so far. The light is so spread out it's not like it's really focusing on one area. It just lights up everything in front of you.

Hopefully I'll have some footage from a GoPro to put up in the near future while riding at night.
