end cap for stock pipe?

Has anyone tried using an after market replacement end cap on the stock pipe? I did this mod to my DS650 and it really woke the bike up. As far as bang for the buck, it couldn't be beat. There are a few on ebay heres one, looks pretty nice...

I imagine if you used one you would need a optimizer?

I have one couldn't tell a difference in power just sounded a little better.

Did you need a fuel controller or did you just leave it stock.

left it stock... I have 2BRO's slipon and juice box now..much better, but everyone says PCV is the way to go.

I cut the top off of a 2nd stock pipe I had. Didn't improve anything unless you consider "sounds like farting" an improvement.

The stock muffler is the restrictive part, not the tip.
