Don't ride it anymore until you install your fuel controller, what ever type you have. Wiseco or power commander?

I'm not M_Quick, but I do have one reason for not riding until you install your fuel controller... proper fuel mixture! Without the fuel controller your motor will probably run very lean and thus quite hot... Not good for your motor.

Yeah what he said, quad is lean enough from factory. And then you add a full exhaust with no fuel controller!

Without tearing it down, not really. You can pull the spark plug. Just install your fuel programmer, and set it to the recommended settings, before you ride it again. Shouldn't take but 10mins to install. It's possible the stall you experienced, was caused by running to lean, but idk. Post up if it happens after the controller is installed.

Well i think im in trouble because the person i bought the trx from had been using it all this time without the fuel control.. this is why i bought it right away(fuel control).. the trx dosnt smoke only when i accelerate and stop acceleratign it throws a bit of white smoke. now im afraid something can be damaged on the engine...:(

Yeah you should tear down top end before if blows, and you end up needing more parts. Hope you got a good price on it, and that you can get by with just piston, rings and gasket set. Depending on the condition of the jug, if it's bad then you may as well go 2mm over and have machine shop bore your jug.

Am i reading this right? It only smokes when your on the gas, and when you let off? So when doesn't it smoke, when it's not running?
