Exhaust wrap

Exhaust wrap on stock header pipe with big gun slip on?? Good idea guys or not?
Read good and bad both but no reviews on the 700 yet. Lmk what yall think. Thanks so much

did that on mine,exact same set up. maybe a little less heat on the leg, no other conclusions.

I second Famous Bob. I used the titanium wrap (2") in lieu of what I had been using on my dirt bikes (glass fiber). It definitely cuts down on the heat. The Ti smokes for the first few miles so don't be surprised with the smoke. And if you ever wash your TRX700XX, I wouldn't spray directly on to the wrap. My only recommendation is to use stainless steel hose clamps (I used one at the engine exhaust port, and then about every 5 inches up to the muffler) and not the stainless ties that come with some of the Header Heat Wrap Kits.

What about wrapping a stainless header? I have the Barkers full system.
This thing sure cranks out the heat on my right leg with the header + the fan blowing in the same place.
