Well im one of the few that likes the ability to tune it yourself. The resolution offered by the DJ unit is better then other units i have seen.

Auto tune to me is nice and will prob help me tune it in faster, but im not going to solely go by its settings. The nice thing i see about the PCV is the future LCD screen that will display AFR's. This will show me thing that a Dyno run cannot, Real world Load on the Motor. This topic has been discussed in Car forums alot...Dyno's are needed to get you started...riding it hard will fine tune.

Fuel that you get locally will have some effect on the tune you run. East coast 93 Octane is better then the South West 91 Octane. If you run Race gas then its a different story....but know that not all fuel is created equal. Thats why Autotune is somewhat conservative....14.7 being the stoichiometric target most Naturaly Asperation motors shoot for.

Now what would be cool is a way to adjust Ignition Timing..........

the lcd screen would be nice but you would constantly have to be staring at it to be able to make adjustments using it,i wish either of the two had a realtime datalogger so you can tune on the run like i do cars.

yes real time Data logging would be the next step in quad tuning.

but i was thinking GoPro and LCD....so i can target RPM/AFR. Yes its Ghetto...but i own a GoPro so all i would need is the LCD.

I have tuned mostly AEM and OpenECU (Mitsu/Suby). AshSpec ECU for Nissans, and a little Hondata helping a friend.

But back to the OT

Difference in Alba full and Barker Full im guessing is not going to be huge. But HMF also just came out with a new full exhaust. Just a thought...
