Kickstarter?

Man... this thing is a Cow!! and is a real Bit(h to push start when the battery dies. Has anyone installed a kick starter (I know they can be placed on 4 strokes, anouther company has them on theirs...

Question is, how much? and how hard?

Negative. You cannot add one to the XX. Even if you had one from a XR650r there are two many variants in bearings and flywheel to fit it.

that sucks... I think a kick start on this thing would be an ideal back up (or a main use for you man's man out there)

My jump box is a better ideal. If I should leave my lights on in the middle of the woods with no place to push start I'd deserve to walk.

I looked into this as a weight saver idea. No unlees you redesign the lower half of the engine, plus no decomp . That's gonna hurt when it backfires.

I'm still on my first battery and never had my battery not start my quad.

(I've also never used a battery tender with it)

I dont think kicking the XX would be a pleasureable experience....especially one with a piston swap.

if my battery died i would let it roll down a hill the pop the cluch in 3rd that should start it. or have my ferinds push it and pop it in 2nd
