fuel controller

do you need a fuel controller if you have a full exhaust i have a full factory 4.1 and no toil filter i heard it makes it run lean

ive had my exhaust for a while and ive been noticing it run hotter then usual after riding. would this be because i dont have a programer ?

Our quads are already set too lean from the factory... Hence, a fuel controller is good for even a stock 700xx. If you also did something with the air box to allow more air flow, then a fuel controller is a MUST.
And yes, a lean condition WILL make a quad run hotter.

thanks man, that makes a lot of sense. and yes i have a no toil air filter and its been running extremely warm and stals out after long rides, i havent checked my valves, do you think they could crack or effect them ?
