spark plug boot

Going to set my valves and pulled the spark plug boot apart. Anyone else done this and do you have to replace the coil to fix?

The yellow boot just turns off counterclockwise, and you just thread the new one on. I tore mine pulling the plug wire trying to install the sensor wire for my TT Vapor. Definately don't need to replace the coil.

ya just have to weasel your hand in and grab it, I tried with a needle nose, and that tore about half of the rubber off of it, so it is hands only for me now.

I tore mine too. I have yes to replace mine and actually used high-heat RTV to put it back together. I (as of yet) have had an issue with water and it shorting out and I've been up to the intake with water on it.

It's the same part number as a 650r fyi...
