Hi all I'm new to the forum my name's Ryan. I bought an '08 700xx about 2 months ago and have been having some shifting issues with it. Quad does seem to have been beat on, I have no idea on hours though.

When going easy on it and letting RPMs drop pretty much to idle between shifts it shifts fine. Riding it hard it's just a pain to shift.. Always upshifts, downshifts are never a problem. Have to try 3-4 times to get from 2nd to 3rd if i'm hauling. Slowing down and putting around its ok. Neutral and reverse are very hard to find once its hot as well.

I tried searching all over the web and someone thought the clutch basket was grooved on his 450r. Has anyone else had this issue? Not sure if my tranny's shot/shift fork bent or what. :S

Any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry this is so long. -Thanks
