fuel reserve

hello i have a question about the reserve fuel. is there any way to make the reserve tank only old 1 ltr of gas. think this could be done by cutting the petcock tube shorter ?
i have not removed the petcock from my tank and have no idea how a petcock works. but people who have fitted ims tanks should have an idea as you remove it to use in the ims tank.

Just curious? Why would you want to do this?

I was wondering the same thing. What is the benefit? Are you worried about the weight?

**Sorry, I guess it doesn't really matter why you want to do it, my answer would be I have no idea how to do this.**

I installed a IMS tank, but really didn't look at the petcock. Just took it out made sure the seal was intact and clean, installed it on the new tank.

i would like the main tank to last longer before switching to reserve. on my raptor the fuel light would come on with very little to get you home think the light came on with 1 ltr left
