08 trx700 cooling fan >??

Ok I just bought my second 08 trx 700xx my first was in 2010 but was short lived due to some issues...so I just bought my second it has a slasher pipe and header with a slasher power mod and intake also engine was rebuilt last year I was told .. so my question is that I have never seen my cooling fan come on and I have rode for 2 hrs seems the warmer she is the louder the engine noise is getting timing chain slap or maybe valves or just plain Honda noise i'm not sure anyone else finding this to be a problem::??

Either run quad for awhile, shut off then turn key to on position but don't start. Fan should come on. Or run quad while parked for 15 to 20 mins, fan should come on. As far as noise your hearing, it's hard to say but worth a valve adjustment and oil change.
