Rebuild question

I just finished replacing the valve seals on my TRX 700. I was going through some heat cycles for the break in and I'm not sure if it sounds right. I was wanting someone with a more experienced ear to let me know what they think. How do I attach a video?

Furthermore, the muffler pipe gets real hot very fast during this cycle. I was wondering if this is normal for a break in?

I'm not sure how to tell if it has or not. When I reinstalled it I used a small screwdriver and screwed it back so I could get the bolts in then I pulled the screwdriver out. I thought it automatically when back forward when I removed the screwdriver.

Should I just take the tensioner out and see if it is still stuck back?

I think my cam chain tensioner is shot. I pulled the valve cover to recheck the timing and I was able to see that my tensioner was out and against the guides for the chain. But when I screwed back to adjust the chain on the sprocket, I released it and it didn't go all the way forward. I had to turn it counterclockwise a few turns for it to come all the way out.

I found out the piece I am speaking of is called the tensioner lifter. It doesn't come all the way out to put the proper pressure on the tensioner.
