Show me your's and I'll show you mine, lmao.

But really what makes you think your missing fuses? There are spare spots in the fuse block. If your missing one, and its marked whit certain amps, just put one in. Does your quad run? And do you have the service manual? Section 20 shows fuse box with lid off.

Hey thanks a lot I was looking at the service manual not the owners manual I bought a 2008 700xx project quad for $600 runs but overheats figured fuses would be first thing I would check but its missing some I think, Starts up runs for a bit and then over heats still trying to figure it out. Idk a whole lot about these 700xx bikes ive only had 400exs and 450rs thanks a lot for the quick response!

So have you say your missing fuses? Have you even bothered to check the fuse box? Because on the inside of the cover it is plainly marked. This quad runs on four fuses a 10 amp for the light 15 amp for the fan another 15 amp for the fuel injection/ignition and a 30 amp main. Also there is a diod in the box. The fuse box originally comes with three spares a 30, 15, and a 10 amp. Leaving some openings.

I'd check t-stat, and water pump. If bad replace and flush the system. Besure to let the air bleed out of system. Probably a easy fix, and you got a nice deal on the quad. Also fan should come on after quad runs for 10 to 15 mins, parked. So it sounds like a coolant flow issue, but could also be radiator or fan issue as well. Good luck!

You can try cleaning the radiator. Mine had overheating issues too but after I took out the radiator and cleaned it, itís been working fine.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'm impressed with how supportive the 700xx community is being how they are harder and harder to find, my brother and I went half and half on it $300 each he wants to resell it but I think if we put a couple hundred in it and fix it up a bit it will be a beast. Ive always wanted one because of the IRS and 700cc but never seen one under $2,500 in our area and having 3- 450rs 2- 400exs and a 250r bike as well it was never a need. Ill keep you guys posted and get some before and after pics as well. Thanks again
