Piston Jet Use

There is a part called a Piston Jet. Its part number is 11210-HP6-A00 and it is located in the crankcase. The TRX700XX that we are working on has its arm broken on it. My question is if anyone can tell me what it is used for and when we install the non broken piston jet (fits in the hole on the crankcase block and is secured with an o-ring) what is its primary mission in the engine and what cautions should we be aware of when installing the new part.
Thanks to anyone
Phil

Piston Jet Use

Let me try posting again. There is a part called a Piston Jet that is located in the crankcase. The part number is 11210-HP6-A00. The 2008 TRX700XX that we are working on has its piston jet broken (arm). It is easy to replace it with a new one because it is held in by an o-ring that fits on in when putting it back in the hole. The problem is that I would like to know what it is used for and how is it used. Also, what cautions should we watch for when setting it back in.
Any help would be appreciated.

Phil
