oils differences

Hi guys,
I'm using 10w40 oil,
I do not quote brand,
it is not a matter of advertising.
I am tempted to apply a 10w50,
to have a gear change, fluid, even when hot,
and also to better protect engine,
but I'm going in the right direction,
or?
Who tried w50 oil, and what are the differences with w40?
Engine, warmer, or less hot,
or the same?
Change of gear ..
Clutch, it works fine anyway, or worse
Thank you all

I use IPONE KATANA 10W50 for a long time and no problem with it. Drain + filter every 1000 km or so.

50 weight is awfully thick for your oil pump to reach your valve train.......I would not use it, but that's me.

thanks guys, maybe I'll go to another 10w40
which, however, is a little more dense than the classic 10w40
(on the data sheet)
here in Italy, it is very famous and used, it is an American product,
called bardhal
