Check the plug if you want, but the plugs usually run a very long time. Also, if you have the means, why not check the valves? IDK if this is something you do yourself, or you take it in. A good recommendation would be to check the service manual, but then again you can never do something too much right? I would check all the bolts though, everywhere, make sure they are tight, plastics included.
