Thumper Racing 727 kit or ?

I have the big 3 right now and Iím looking to get some more power, I am thinking about getting the Thumper Racing 727 kit but wanted to ask you guys first. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money just have around a 1000 to spend and the need for speed. I really donít know where to start or what other options I have in my price range. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How do you like your 11:1 cp piston and cam? Did you notice a big improvement over stock and did you do the install yourself?

Stick with the std bore and buy a 12:1 piston.

Ok so I think I’m going to go with the Alba ported head, a stage 3 Webb cam, and a 12:1 CP piston, do you guys think this would be a good setup?. I found this piston on ebay but it says its for a 09-10, will it work on my 08? Thank you for all your help.

Ok, the piston is on its way and I just emailed Alba about the head and cam. What octane do you think I should run for this setup?
