HID bulbs

Okay guys, im lookin to buy some stock replacement bulbs on ebay i found and was wondering if these really are "plug and play" style bulbs as the wattage has me worried. The manual says the stock bulbs are 12V - 30/30W and these replacement bulbs also say 12V, but it says their drawing wattage stays the same but output is 100-90W?!?!?!? I honestly dont know what to go by, can someone help me with this? will these work or will they fry my system or damage it in some way?

P.S here`s the link to the bulbs

Don't get those. Those are just colored halogen bulbs with crazy high wattage to get the light output of HID without getting an HID kit.

They will draw way too much power from your elec system. And they will also put off a ton of heat which can melt your housing.

Plus they aren't even the correct bulbs. The 700XX takes an H6M.

Go there, choose 35W, pick the color you want and then add it to your cart. You don't need any of the other junk.

And I'd suggest 5 or 6000k for the color.

yeah the bulbs are wrong like stated above the H6m is what you want ive had good and bad luck with the cheap ebay ones one set works great while the other set flickers all the time it is mostly because we had to splice the harness and the cheap wire didnt accept solder very well if at all

also I have a set of the ballest and igniter in one set that has a short in the casing it will ground out if touching metal i had to wrap it in electrical tape to keep it from catching my car on fire once lol I would stick to the standared slim ballest

as far as color I run 6000k and love them plenty brite with a slite blue tint
5000 is pure wite and the brightest so it all depends on what you want if you dont care how brite it is you just want the color 8000 or 10000 may be better for you they will still be brighter than stock but have alot more color to them

The 55w HIDs are great and are bright as heck.. however after a long night ride we pulled up to rinse the quads off and when the water hit my plastic headlight lens it cracked across it like it was glass

IIRC the slim ballasts from DDM are waterproof.

And yeah the 55W are too hot for small housings. They only recommend using them in vehicles with large housings.
