Question Hard rock...bent wheel...huge problem?

Ok, first off. I was climbing a slightly rough hill climb maybe mid range 3rd gear and I smacked a rock with my left rear wheel. I didn't realize at the time what i had done. When i came to a rest back at the bottom i noticed that the tire was flat and that the wheel was...flat as well lol. I bent the rim back to almost perfect with a 4lb shop hammer. It has a small wobble but nothing like the wobble my ass would have by going to the honda shop for a replacement ($285 replacement). So, after fixing the wheel I went back to riding the atv. I then noticed that it ran different. It's hard to explain but it felt like the throttle was jittery in 2nd gear from the mid to high rev. range. It was past due for an oil change so i changed the oil, cleaned the air filter and checked coolant. Now, it seems back to normal.

Question #1: Did i hit hard enough to bend my a-arms? After measuring they seem to be exactly the same on both sides but im still worried.
Question #2: Did i hit hard enough to do internal damage to my transmission/clutches?
Question #3: Could a past due oil change cause a slipping/stuttering effect? It felt more like a throttle response than it did slipping. It's hard to explain.

thanks to anyone who responds back.

I've done this a couple times. I think it's a mental thing. You're so worried about having messed up your beloved XX that you get paranoid and start thinking somethings wrong.

old oil can affect the clutch. Maybe that was it or maybe it's all in your head? I've smacked tons of rocks and bent every wheel on the bike at some point. It's never hurt anything else.

lol...you guys are probably right. I love my 700 and it bothers me that something may be wrong with it. I rode it around several times today on the new oil change and didn't feel anything other than normal. I tried various different rpm ranges through different gears and never felt or heard it again.
On a side note, i was thinking about buying the EHS big 3 kit. I just dunno if the power gains are worth the $750. If anyone has any feedback about that I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

It's all mental.

I hit a tree hard enough that I folded my lower A arm, bent my reinforced rim, bent my shock, and bent the frame.

Put a new a arm on it, fixed the shock and I raced it last weekend. It still rides fine to me. It pulls to the right a little but nothing big.

I think your bike is fine. I bent both back wheels at the same time in uwharrie national forest and once I replaced them everwything was good. The big 3 is definately worth the money. I have the Curtis sparks exhaust ehs programmer and intake and it makes a big difference.

2nd this..... I am so nuts that when I clean the bike all up I feel like it rides better than when it was dirty.
