102-108mm Closed Deck Big Bore

After a year of wait... I finally got it in hand. This one is 105mm, I didn't feel it was necessary to go all the way to 108mm yet. All I have left is to put it on the bench drill and knock out the water passage holes.

very nice, should hold a head gasket quite well!

how thick is the sleeve wall with the 104? u dont want too much metal there, holds a lot of heat and wont transfer as well as aluminum

As you can see in the pic there is one area we couldn't fill, It's not going to compromise any strength or affect the head gasket seal. The gasket and head both cover it.

Traitor, It comes out to 727. Stock bore is actually 686cc, 41cc gain.

RednBlack, It'll be the strongest part on the bike. It started out as a solid 5/8" thick walled sleeve.

Depends. If funds permit I'm considering a turbo setup and will use the XX head due to the ease of a single port. If I can't swing the turbo setup I'll use an XR in hopes that it makes more power with the dual Exh ports.
There's still two other items I've got to finish before I get to the head options so I got plenty of time to decide. I've actually got two XR heads, I'm going to port one myself and prolly sell the other if anyone is interested.
