Slip-On Question: Modifying the Can

Has anyone here tried to cut an inch or two off their aftermarket slip-on? In the street world this is common to gain bottom-end. I have also seen the motocross racers do this for the same result. Thoughts?

On 2 strokes th lenght size and shape determine the powerband. Not like in a 4 stroke. Some motors likme more backpressure, sometimes less. All depends

On a 2 stroke it is primarily the expansion chamber that affects the power band, as far as exhaust is concerned.
