Filter upgrade

Hey guys,

I have a 08 TRX 700. Right now I have a hmf slip on and a juicebox on the way. What kind of air filter upgrades do you recommend? I barely ever ride around dusty areas. Let me know what you guys think.

Depends what kind of money you want to spend.
Uni-filter is a nice upgrade for around $30.

Non dusty situations you could run that and no lid.

Dusty situations I would really recommend the EHS air box lid. $130.00 http://www.ehsracing.com/products/tr...airbox_EHS.htm
Or they have a kit to mod your stock lid.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just checked out both links. I'm leaning towards the ehs lid just incase I decide to go anywhere dusty in the future. Does it give you a noticeable power gain?

None really benefit till you get the fuel controller hooked up. Actually I would not add anything else till you hook up the fuel controller.

With the slip/on, uni-filter, open air box or ehs lid, and fuel controller you should prolly see maybe a 5-6 hp increase.

What you will really notice it throttle response. Its noticable. Pulls way harder through the gears. And alot better topend.

You will have to have separate settings for your controller for each situation.
ie: (1.)Uni filter with airbox lid.
(2.)Uni filter with no lid or ehs lid.

I have a powercommander 5, so I am not sure on the settings for the fuel controller you have, Maybe someone else can add to this that has experience with one.

A k&n filter with outerwears would be a lot cheaper than the ehs lid and filter. I would also go with the powercommander if you are planning more mods in the future. I hate buying stuff twice!
