Broke Coil Wire

Wire pulled out of the sparkplug boot.... do I have to buy a whole new coil now!? It looks like it's all one piece and it certainly doesn't want to come apart from the coil itself.

It would be parts 2 and 3.

The spark plug boot should screw back onto the wire

So just stick the wire back in the boot and screw it back in?

If the copper wire is still showing in the coil/black wire piece you are fine and can just screw the boot back on. If the wire broke higher then you are out of luck. They dont give you any extra slack to play with and will need a new coil. I hope this answers your question. I had the same thing happen to me and had to buy a new coil

This is stupid. Should have made a typical coil. Could this be converted to a coil with a plug end on it so that we could possibly use normal sparkplug wires?
