This should be the help you need.
Also I run a 12 tooth for riding in the woods and to me it's better than the 13.

The 450r sprocket will fit, in case when you go to buy they don't know how to cross reference the part. It's the sprocket at the front part of the chain. Read above thread, but you don't need to tip quad or remove skid plate. A long extension and a swivel bolt will come off easy. If you want you can take off side cover, with 5mm allen and a 10mm socket. And just re-adjust chain when done. Sprocket cost like anywhere from $8.95 to $24.00. Once I put my big 3 on, I replaced my sprocket with oem 14t. And it will pull in 2nd gear with no throttle.

6 pack rack came from http://www.dgperf.com/index.asp

And chain is just an adjustment. Hard to see from this picture, but there's a big bolt on each side of the NASCAR sticker. All you do is losen it and use the adjuster's to tighten a click. Make sure both sides are the same when done, and re-tighten bolt easy job.

Here's a left side angle of bolt and adjuster. Silver ob-long thing with #'s on it, also known as the chain adjuster. Not the black frame bolts.

You can get a 13t sprocket from many online parts outlets. But, I'd recommend Rocky Mountain. Fronts sprockets for the trx450r that's '06 and newer fit fine... just make sure it's facing the right way... the teeth are slightly off center and one way, the front and rear sprocket will line up, the other way, they won't.

I have the big 3 as well, but decided to keep the 13t because I like the low speed torque and control for tight/technical riding. The draw back with the 13t is that you loose some top end... but not that much. Besides, how many time are you gonna need 85mph on a trail?

You will be amazed at the difference it makes. In my opinion the Trx should have came with the 13th from the factory.

Who makes the 12 tooth? Can't find one for the 450 or 700 from Renthal.
